I Am Not Alone in My Lack of Understanding.

So yesterday afternoon, while Julia is working at her office in town, I decided it would be a good idea to just do a meditation for myself. I had a little time to kill, and it had been a while since I had just stretched out and took a little time to see what pops up. And, yeah, something definitely popped up, “That’s for sure!”

As I began to reach center, focusing on my breathing, I suddenly dropped off into a vision in which I was at a late Sunday morning church service. The place reminded me a lot of Newton First Baptist Church. The characteristics of the building, the acoustics of the sanctuary, etc.

It seemed to me that it was about 11:00 in the morning. So yeah, I guess for all intents and purposes we could say, “It was a vision that took place Sunday at 11:00 AM,” or thereabouts.

In this particular dream, our friend Ellen was sitting to my left. There were a bunch of people to my right that I didn’t recognize, and of course, a room full of other people that were in attendance at what was clearly a church service, “Whom I also did not recognize.”

Many of these folks seem to be senior citizens. A few… “Perhaps not.”

But the bizarre part was during the service. All of a sudden Ellen started shushing the people that were talking in front of us during the service. They in turn turned around and started shushing her back. So, you had all this “Sshh” and “Sshh” going on.

I just looked at our friend Ellen and said, “You know? I think we might be disrupting the service.” She said, “Well, they definitely were,” and the vision faded with me saying, “Now we are too.”

It was just a rather bizarre dream that I still can’t seem to wrap my head around. When I shared it with Julia, she couldn’t really understand it either. So, I guess, “I’m not really the only one.”
