“The way you brush my hair with your hands… It just goes right through me. Of course, everything you do kind of goes right through me. I truly am blessed,” Julia said softly yet warmly.
We’d fallen asleep, Julia sort of curled up against my side and her head resting on my shoulder. When I woke, I simply lay there listening to the owl hooting outside the window as I lightly brushed my hand over the surface of her hair.
“That’s incredible,” Julia breathed. “That feels simply amazing. You could convince a pretty girl to stay in bed with you all day doing that, you know?” Julia finished with a sly note in her tone.
I laughed softly saying, “Yeah… But could the girl really just let me do this with her all day? Or… Would she be unable to contain herself after a time and… Well… You know… Uh…”
Julia giggled softly saying mischievously, “What? You think this pretty girl has no staying power or something?”
In one swift movement, Julia moved, planting a deep passionate kiss on me, and breathed, “You’re right. When it comes to you, I can’t help myself. And… Nor do I want to. I refuse to even try.”
And with that… Yeah… Several pleasant experiences were shared of a toe-curling nature before the alarm finally went off. When we got out of bed, I think we both might have been just a bit weak in the knees.
As Julia kissed me goodbye before heading into town to run her couples counseling sessions, she took both my hands in hers and said playfully, “To be continued later.” She then took off in the RAM, playfully leaving a little rubber behind as she pulled out of the driveway.
I walked back into the house thinking to myself as I laughed out loud, “Yeah… We’re going to be buying new wheels for that thing before the lease expires. Oh well!”
I spent the rest of the day printing a few things out for my next therapy session with Shannon tomorrow before back posting more stuff to The Bria Sphere website. I did fix a computer for a client remotely this afternoon, too. But it wasn’t anything to write home about. Just a failed update that needed to be reinstalled. “Piece of cake!”
Julia came in just as I was getting off the phone and stopped dead looking at me for a long moment. “You look like you could do with some air,” she said softly, gently placing her hands on my shoulders as I sat at my desk quietly staring off into space. “Does the bullshit ever end?” I said softly.
“Yes. It does,” Julia said gently taking the phone out of my hand and turning it off. Then taking hold of my hand she pulled saying sternly, “Come with me. Now.”
