When I got out of bed this morning, I only had one real objective for today since everything else was running smoothly on my servers. I decided it was high time I set up a LinkedIn account. So… “That’s what I did!”
Julia and I headed out for a light lunch and to do some shopping locally after she’d finished up with her virtual appointments she had with clients. She seemed rather relieved to be done with her work week and cheerfully suggested we take her car for this run to save a few bucks on gas.
“I do love driving that truck of yours,” she said as we pulled out of the driveway. “But the thing is a bit of a whore on gas.” I chuckled saying, “And the led weight on the gas peddle doesn’t help matters either.”
She laughed as we pulled up to the traffic light over by Hayek’s on 206 and when we came to a complete stop, she kissed me lightly on the lips. “There’s no led on the gas pedal anymore my love. I transferred that into my sneaker,” she said with a warm glow in her voice.
The rest of the time I had today I spent Reading Ingo Swannn’s “Your Nostradamus Factor” and fully intend to be done with it by the end of the weekend. At one point in the book, I heard Julia come quietly into my study saying softly, “This sounds interesting.”
I motioned for her to come lay with me on the couch, which she did, kissing me lightly and then saying, “Thanks!”
I nodded and we continued listening to the book for the rest of the afternoon. Of course, us being us, I did need to put the book on hold at one point for about twenty minutes or so. But… Even with audio books one does need to take a break for at least a few moments now and again. “It helps with concentration!”
After dinner, Julia and I returned to my study to read more of the book. At one point, Julia remarked, “I’ve seen some of the material he’s referring to. This is well organized.”
Then, at around 9:00 PM she rose from the couch saying, “Don’t be up too late journaling, ok? I’ll be waiting for you in bed.”
And… With that, she gave me a long passionate kiss and headed for the door. After she was gone… Well… I sat on the couch for a few moments in a daze and then… Uh… “This keyboard is very responsive to lightning speed fingers!”
