It was peaceful in the early hours of this morning just laying in bed and feeling the stillness of the snowstorm as Julia slept in my arms. I’m not sure how we got this way, our bodies comfortably intertwined on her side of the bed but… It felt good.
I must have fell back into a deep sleep for a while because the next thing I remember was gentle kisses on my face, lips and body. I could smell fresh coffee, too, and realized that it was daylight. As my senses came online, I felt the warmth of Julia’s bathrobe clad body as she moved next to me on the bed.
“You look confused,” she said; her leaning in for a long good morning kiss full of tenderness. I blinked. She laughed softly and said, “This should help clear some cobwebs for you Sleepyhead. But you’re going to have to sit up for it.” So, I shifted to a sitting position beside her on the bed and then stood up and stretched.
She rose next to me, handing me a cup of coffee, which I took a sip of before heading off to the bathroom. When I walked back into our bedroom, I found her sitting on the love seat tapping a hand lightly on the leather cushion next to her, indicating that she wanted me to come sit with her.
So, there we were, sitting in silence together drinking our coffee. No phones. No TV. Just the two of us enjoying a brew together as the snow fell outside. “It was awesome!”
We then quietly got dressed around 9:30 AM, once Julia noted that the snow was letting up outside. The car and Truck were both in the garage; her parking both inside before the weather turned figuring that it would be one less obstacle for us to have to deal with when it came time to shovel. “She’s a smart cookie that Julia is!”
And… Within about two and a half hours we had the place cleared by hand, there only being about three inches of the wet stuff on the ground. We keep talking about buying a snow blower but… It never seems to happen. And even Julia commented this morning as we worked, how doing it by hand makes the task more intimate. “You can’t talk over a noisy snow blower.,” she said, and she’s right.
“You can see it on the ground a bit now?” Julia asked as I cleared the driveway in front of the garage door. I shook my head yes and she moved closer and asked softly, “How does it feel after so long?” I stopped shoveling for a second and she came over and held my hands as she looked into my eyes.
I thought for a long moment and then said, “Sometimes I think I’m dreaming. It can be a bit disorienting because I see shapes of things I’ve forgotten about or just never seen before and don’t quite know what to make of it. It’s nowhere near what it used to be, and I don’t know if my eyesight will ever come back to what it was. But… It makes life interesting.”
She then giggled slyly and said, “Not to sound like a therapist or anything but… Um… Uh… You know? Those weren’t exactly the feelings I was talking about.” She then lightly kissed me and said, “How does it feel?” I then took a deep breath before saying, “I don’t really know how I feel or to feel about it. Unnerved maybe? But only because I don’t know what the hell I’m looking at sometimes. Happy at other times because I do get to see more of you and other things I once enjoyed looking at. Not that you are on the same category level as a thing of course.” She laughed and said, “True, but visually I am an object of sorts, so we’ll let it ride so as not to over complicate things.” She kissed me again giggling and saying, “I know what you meant. To coin a phrase this really hot guy I know is always saying… It’s all good.” She then gave me a hug and said, “I know you don’t think of me as an object. Not even a sex object.”
After that we finished up and headed back into the house, took a shower together and then decided to head back out again for a late lunch, early dinner. Our place of Choice? “The Hampton Diner.”
When we returned home the wind was starting to pick up and we chilled in the living room for a while looking at stuff online via phones. At one point she said, “I think I’ve found out something here you’re going to like.” Then a page was shared on my screen from the Audible website. “It was the rest of the books from the Clive Cussler Dirk Pitt series read by Scott Brick that weren’t available in the United States for the longest time.”
She then said, “You can now read those other eight unabridged audio books now. I know you enjoyed the others.” She then slid over on the couch and gave me a squeeze giggling like a naughty schoolgirl and said, “Will it be me or the adventure novels tonight? That is the question.” She then slid her hands down my pants and cupped my nuts with one hand before slyly saying, “Your answer my dear?”
She then slightly tightened her grip on my family jewels before playfully saying in a tone of sheer joy, “Oh… Never mind. I got my answer right here in my hand. He’s growing. Shall we take a walk into the bedroom now or…” She then unzipped my fly and said, “You know? Fuck it. Right here is good enough for me.”
A few seconds later I was given one of her incredible blowjobs and the fun didn’t stop there. I should read adventure novels more often, “Right?”
Anyhow… We did eventually move into the bedroom, where Julia had passed out from exhaustion for the time being. So many orgasms for the woman at the tip of my silver tongue alone and well… You get the idea. “She needs to rest up for the next go round.”
