I Am Brilliant.

After last night… Well… Let’s just say that the morning came way too soon and leave it at that, “Shall we?”

I took the script for the centering exercise Julia and I worked on last night and began laying down tracks. However, after getting to the point where it seemed like a few extra sound effects would round things out nicely, I did have one question for Julia to answer. But… I went out on a limb and did what I thought was right in the meantime since she was in session, and I was on a roll.

Finally, at around 4:30 PM she was done doing her virtual sessions and came out of her study to visit me in mine. “What’s you got there?” she asked curiously.

I was sitting with headphones on and admiring my handy work when she stepped in, indicating her presence by clearing her throat as she entered the room before gently placing a hand on my shoulder. I took my headphones off and handed them to her while doing a quick keyboard command to jump JAWS to the main speakers so she wouldn’t have to listen to it through the headset.

I then motioned for her to sit down at my desk as I rose, which she did. Then I leaned over her shoulder and started the meditation version I had tailored for women so she could hear it.

I guess she saw the file title on screen at some point during the first few minutes of listening, because she suddenly breathed out, “No way… You didn’t…”

Then she asked, “I want to try this in earnest. Can you restart it for me?”

So… I did and a half hour later she was ecstatic. “I would have never thought to do this!” she exclaimed. “That’s brilliant!”

She then said, “I am in awe,” before coming over to me and pulling me into a tight embrace. “That intuition of yours is going to help a lot more people. This is exceptional work Brian.”

I smiled and kissed her lightly before saying, “Dinner?” She giggled and said, “Hell yeah!”

So… We were off in the wife’s car, arriving at Dominic’s Pizza on East Clinton Street here in Newton NJ about ten minutes later. It was a Quiet ride and quiet dinner. But with her sitting right next to me at the table… I’m thinking the touching that went on under the table pretty much expressed our mutual feelings about the way this day progressed, “Better than any words ever could.”

Our silent communication continued all the way home, too. And once we got in the house… Well… Yeah. The rest of the evening was wordlessly spent engaging in forms of communication that, although be it unspoken, “Deeply resonate with the sole and more.”
