I Am a Dreamwalker.

I woke before Julia this morning and was doing Countdown Deepening Exercises when I noticed I kept having an image of her appear in my head. She was sleeping next to me and yet… “There she was in my head, too!” So… I decided to have some fun.

“I love you,” I said to her in my own head, living the conversation in my imagination as if it were real. “I really do love you.” That’s as far as I got because the next thing I know, I feel a hand touching mine under the sheets and blankets as Julia stirred and spoke softly saying, “I know.”

She then shifted close to me, wrapping herself around me saying, “It’s amazing how you can do that. I’m thankful you can do that.”

“Do what?” I asked trying to sound innocent. She giggled and said, “Speak to me in dreams. Imagine this.”

She kissed my chest as she stroked it lightly with her nails and said, “Here you are in the middle of a dream about a couple you’re counseling, and the husband is beating his wife. You see this happening in their home and are powerless to help the woman when all of a sudden, your own husband appears, pressing pause on the action to tell you he loves you.”

“Julia? I don’t think I can imagine that because I’m damned if I’m ever going to be another guy’s wife. I like girls, remember?” I said laughing gently. “And… Uh… Am I to take it that in reality you see signs of this happening to one of your clients in couples therapy, but she is acting like nothing of the sort is happening?”

Julia kissed me and said, “Oh crap. Did I say that dream involved clients? Ups.” She then stretched up to kiss me on the lips and moved to lay astride me as she did so; me laying on my back.

“You know I can neither confirm nor deny that, ‘Right’?” Julia said playfully. “Anyhow, my point was that I love how you can make a lousy dream end on a happy note, even if I am feeling like I’m in a slightly awkward position because I didn’t engage brain before mouth.”

I simply smiled and ran my fingers through her hair saying with a chuckle, “I’m sorry… But… What was that about a dream honey? I didn’t hear what you said the first time.”

Julia then kissed me very deeply, grinding against me as she did so saying, “I had the most amazing dream this morning just before I woke up. You appeared in it, told me you loved me, and then made my toes curl like never before.” As she finished talking, she looked at me rather breathlessly for a few seconds before saying with a laugh, “Oh shit! I’m screwed!”

I felt myself having gotten quite hard in the moment. So, I suddenly rolled so I was then on top of her, Julia letting out a shriek of delighted surprise.

In one fluid movement I went down on her at the end of our swift reversal of positions, pinning her arms over her head as I did so. She rested her feet on my back as we moved, and when I did finally release her hands, she wrapped her arms around me and hung on for dear life when her first orgasm took hold.

Yeah… She had a few of those and said something about me setting a world record in the multi orgasmic department, too.

As we got around, we changed the bed sheets so they wouldn’t grow legs and walk after the activities of last night and this morning. And then, we hit Friendly’s for breakfast before stopping at the landfill to ditch some old electronics at a discount since they were taking that kind of thing for free today.

After that, we decided to take the boat up to Swartswood Lake and had a nice relaxing sail while being kept nice and toasty by a bright afternoon sun. “This thing really moves,” Julia commented at one point. “It handles great, too,” she said.

I could tell she was smiling as she ran our little sixteen-foot aluminum craft through its paces. She then reached over and squeezed my leg with her hand and said, “You did a nice job with the design and conversion. I think the original owner of what was once a rowboat would be proud.”

When we called it a day and headed home, we called Dominick’s to order a delivery. While waiting for our food to arrive, we rinsed off the boat and truck, us just having finished up when the kid doing deliveries pulled in the driveway with our order.

The rest of the evening was a slow one with both of us taking time to do some journaling and what not before meeting in the bedroom for bed. Julia was trying to initiate another round of fun filled bliss. But she then seemed to be hit by a wave of tiredness, sluggishly apologized, and ended up falling asleep in my arms. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked down at my sleeping wife thinking, “Sooner or later we all get a little warn out from the activities of our most joy filled days.”
