I Am One of the Wealthiest Men in New Jersey.

“Someone feels peaceful,” I said when I felt Julia finally come round. “I have no reason to be anything but as I am with you,” Julia said. She then added, “How long were you watching me sleep?”

“I don’t know,” I replied. “But… It was cool,” I responded, having been sitting in bed with my pillows between my upper body and the headboard, comfortably reclined. I had a hand resting on her pillow just over her head.

She reached up and gave my hand a gentle squeeze before moving it down to her lips and kissing it. Then, without warning, in one fluid movement, Julia suddenly moved her head onto my lap and… Well… “It was quite the rush.”

What came after that? Um… Well… “We both did!”

We spent the better part of the day picking up around the house, the pile of dishes getting taken care of, etcetera.

In the evening, we hit our respective studies to get things prepped for the next week on the business end, Julia journaling while I worked on my weekly review and checked emails. She came to my doorway, chuckling huskily saying, “More deposit notifications I see. You have definitely become a money magnet, Babe.”

Then, nuzzling my neck, she said, “I’m happy for you. Seriously, you’ve done well for both of us, and I am grateful.”

“It’s not like you don’t do anything,” I said reaching back and stroking her hair. “You do quite well yourself. You’ve also helped a lot of people with your own practice, too. Don’t forget that.”

Julia then spun my desk chair around and sat on my lap saying with a laugh, “We’re not talking about me though. We’re talking about you. A man who has arisen from the ashes of the stigma that comes with blindness, being on SSDI, the Housing Program and other Entitlement Programs to become one of the wealthiest men in New Jersey without being a dick about it. That means something to me, and you are worthy of the recognition for that.”

She then kissed me and added, “And even if you hadn’t been as successful as you are, you have always been good to me in ways that money could never buy in a million years. Do you know how priceless that is? Do you know how priceless you are and always will be to me?”

Julia then kissed me deeply for a long while before saying, “I’m not sure it’s quite sinking in. But I think I know a way that will get the point across.”

This Sunday closed with Julia kissing me passionately, pulling off her close and mine as she moved. I fell asleep in her arms under the blankets of our bed thinking, “, This woman’s got beauty, talent and could have any man. I am glad she loves only me.”
