Today, Julia and I pretty much rolled right out of bed into the day. Friskily of course. But… Things got underway for both of us rather quickly.
When I opened my email, I saw the Google alerts for The Bria Sphere and got laughing to myself. “They were a week late and a dollar short on the posts they decided to index.”
While I may at some point leave things at the same URL as they are for a two-week period, The Bria Sphere will only be carrying a limited number of posts for seven days. I see no reason to go beyond that. At some point, depending upon bandwidth usage I’ll be limiting the number of podcasts on the playlist, as well. “Google has been known to index my sites within two days.”
The thing with Google and Bing is, they both seem to forget about a site very quickly. Old posts, unless really popular, tend to drop in ranking quickly. But if there are no old posts… “There’s nothing to drop.”
I’ve also noticed that the magic number is around thirty-seven. If my sites carry more than thirty-seven pages and posts, Google in particular seems to lose interest. However, that’s not to say I don’t have last weeks posts on my site. They are there. They’re just not front and center.
Most people only want what they want when visiting a site anyway. They don’t stick around like many internet marketers would like you to believe. Most internet marketing strategy is based on BS. But… That’s not my problem. “I know what I know based on server records, which translate into fact.”
And… Speaking of Google, Julia was telling me recently about an article she read in the New York Times about how Microsoft is buying Google. If that deal really does go through, “Maybe Microsoft will actually be able to make an honest company out of Google.”
Julia laughed when I said that out loud and responded with, “Or Google will magically transform Microsoft into the next big Internet Marketing and Programmer’s Occult.”
I did a lot of reading and writing today, studying up on the audio short code tag. I also noticed that the playlist tag loops. I’m not sure that I like that but… “We shall see how things go with it as it is.”
When Julia came into my study at around 5:00 PM she sounded kind of tired. It’s just so dreary out she said and today’s clients… I suddenly spun my chair away from my desk at that point to face her. Her breath caught as I stood up and pulled her into a passionate embrace, kissing her deeply for a long moment, taking her breath away.
She swayed on the spot. Sensing her surprised instability, I swept her off her feet and carried her into the bedroom. What happened next was primordially raw, leaving the girl laughing, crying and roaring with ecstasy. “We both had a peaceful easy feeling for the rest of the night after that.”
