“You look troubled. Slow down Babe. What do you need?”
I had awakened from a dream and suddenly realized it was about a case the FBI had texted me a few weeks ago. I was reaching for my cellphone as soon as my eyes were open. Julia gently took my hand in hers and must have realized what I was after because she handed the phone to me from her position astride me.
I then fired off a text letting them know where I suspected their missing person was and a few seconds later got a response saying, “We’ve been thinking they might be there ourselves. We’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks.”
When I was done with the phone, Julia put it next to her own again on the nightstand saying, “You’re shaking. What you expect they will find isn’t going to be pretty is it.”
I shook my head know saying, “I’m glad I won’t actually be there when they start digging. What a mess.”
Julia heard the disgust in my voice and suggested gently, “Perhaps there’s something I can do to help?” I said quietly, “Just give me a half an hour to write this out on the computer and I swear I will make it up to you when I come back.”
“I know you will,” Julia said. “Let’s go in the kitchen and get some coffee first. I want to sit with you while you write if that’s ok,” she had then continued.
I nodded and she kissed me lightly before taking my hand in hers as I got out of bed and we made our way into the kitchen, me making a pit stop in the bathroom along the way. Julia was sticking close to me without being overbearing about it and I appreciated that. So, when I got out of the bathroom and found her standing there waiting for me, I wasn’t surprised.
“I think I’m going to be sick,” Julia said glancing over my shoulder at the screen as I wrote at one point. “That will teach me for putting my eyes where they don’t belong. Oh my God Babe, how can you stand a vision like that?”
“With a lot of love and support from my gorgeously athletic young wife during the aftermath. I’ll be fine. I promise,” I responded.
As I finished up writing and sat back in my chair for a moment, I felt a hand on my shoulder as Julia spoke softly saying, “However you need me right now. I’m yours. Completely yours.”
“I just need you to be you,” I said quietly and before I knew what was happening, we were back in bed again, Julia pulling out all the stops as she loved me with astonishing sense, precision, and skill. “She was breathtaking to behold.”
When we got around, she worked in her study, while I ran a few remote viewing sessions in mine to figure out the direction of my business. I just felt like I was missing something. But I had my answer by the time dinner came at around 5:30 PM.
It was still raining pretty good outside when we went to bed. But it added to the peace I felt as I drifted off beside Julia. “The moment was priceless.”
