I Am Constantly hearing Joyful News.

While my wife and I were out shopping this evening we ran into one of our neighbors from Newtonian Gardens, Jenny Christina Rose. She was in quite the good mood today and after she told Julia the latest update regarding the recent keying of her car… Well… “We both couldn’t help giving her a high five and a hug each!”

The jerk that keyed Jenny’s car right in the Newtonian Gardens Apartments parking lot is now sitting down in Morris County jail, where they’ll be staying for a little while. In addition to keying Jenny’s car, it would seem that they’ve been up to a lot of other inappropriate behavior unbecoming to a civilized United States citizen and society in general.

Jenny’s insurance company will be paying for the repairs at no charge to her at all. And… The auto body shop doing the work has provided Jenny and her daughter a sweet ride to get around in while her vehicle is being fixed.

The ride Jenny Christina Rose got on loan? Well… After the owner of the body shop where Jenny’s car is being fixed heard about what happened he reached up on a hook and tossed Jenny the keys to one of his own personal vehicles, “A pristine 1963 Stingray.”

The only thing he asked was that she bring it back with a full tank of gas. Julia saw the Corvette as we left the store in the Ram and she tells me it’s a metallic midnight blue color with black striping and silver metal flake in the finish. Jenny’s daughter really likes being driven around in it by her mom, too.

After talking with Jenny, I’m pretty sure that Julia and I were both glowing a bit as we held hands where possible on our ride back to the house. It’s nice to be reminded now and again that not everyone out there is a dick, “An unspoken thought that Julia finally softly voiced in the night as a thank you to God, right there in our bed, to His ears from our home.”
