I woke at around 4:30 AM to find myself in an empty bed. I lay there for a long while before deciding to get up and look for my wife. Of course, I made a pit stop at the bathroom on the way, which is probably a good thing.
When I found Julia, she was in her study writing away. And… Even though I thought I’d made a rather stealthy retreat to the kitchen… Well… Um…
“Looking for this?” Julia said slyly from behind me. When I turned, she put her arms around me and kissed me deeply for a long while, holding on to me rather tightly as she did. What came next seemed to be an extension of last night’s activity in the kitchen after everything was cleaned up and put away.
Lucky for us, the counter tops are just the right height for some of our favorite positions, making it easy for things to happen in a stress-free way. The trick is to remember that Marble is a hard surface and should really only be used for gentler play.
And… No… Marble isn’t exactly the surface you want to be having sex on during really cold mornings, although Julia tells me that sometimes she finds it adds to the stimulation. “I don’t know. I guess it depends on the mood I’m in,” Julia once said to me.
“It just does something to me down there from time to time that’s… Well… pleasantly Interesting. That cold jolt I feel when you set me down on a cold surface while inside me sometimes makes my body… Well, it feels… Yeah… We’ll go with interesting. But in a good way,” she finished with a laugh.
I think she might have been experiencing a bit of that interesting sensation this morning when she sat on the counter by the sink and pulled her feet up by the ankles playfully saying softly, “Bring that rod over here and come drill a pretty girl?” As I slipped inside her she leaned back further on the counter saying somewhat breathlessly yet warmly, “There are riches to be unearthed deep down. Feel free to… Yeah… That’s right. Oh yeah! I think you’ve just struck gold!”
When Julia left for work at around 8:30 AM to do couples counseling sessions in town, she was absolutely radiant. I felt rather warm and fuzzy inside myself, too, as I built out some websites I’d been working on and fixed a client’s computer.
It was a slow quiet weekend, us actually taking a night sail with the boat starting around 10:00 PM Saturday night on Lake Wallenpaupack. Julia really enjoyed herself out on the water with her slightly buzzed husband and a cooler full of wine and a big bottle of JD for me.
Julia didn’t drink much but did a pretty good job pretending she had more than two glasses of wine, enticing me to drink more Jack and white wine as the evening progressed, while faking that she was drinking right along with me. Somehow, she kept me from noticing the big jug of water she was actually filling her wineglass from.
Of course, Julia had a master plan in getting me buzzed so my inhibitions would be low. But the wind was light and being there with Julia felt way more than just alright.
We didn’t get back to dock until sunrise. After getting the boat back on the trailer we headed home, Snagging a few things from Dunkin Donuts along the way.
We pretty much chilled together around the house for the rest of Sunday and when we got up yesterday, we read together for a while, listening to an Audible book on the Silva Ultramind ESP System put out by our friends at Avlis Productions. Then we gate crashed a barbecue my nephew, Kenney, and his wife, Angela, were at hosted by their in laws. When my nephew’s father-in-law jokingly asked where our invitation was Julia replied with a big smile, “At the engravers where you left it.”
I thought for sure a bunch of people were going to choke to death on their drinks upon hearing that. But everyone pulled through ok, and we had a great time hanging with Kenney, Angela, and everyone else.
We got in late last night, Julia having hardly drank anything herself while constantly making sure I had a drink in my hand the whole time we were at the barbecue. Then, the fun in the kitchen started as I was getting the coffee maker ready for morning.
Things seem to be a blur to me now as I write this. But it was a pleasant sensual blur, all the way from the kitchen into the bedroom.
I had a light dinner ready when Julia came home this evening, as per her request. After eating we cleared up and took a bath together. It was nice just sitting there soaking in the warm water together, touching each other and occasionally kissing from time to time. But there wasn’t anything of a frisky nature going on.
All in all, though, the bath did lead to a nice slow comfortable screw that left us both feeling rather peaceful, and I certainly did enjoy watching Julia drift off for a good night of restful sleep.
