I Am Loved by A Proactive Woman.

“Ignore it, Babe. They’ll work it out. Relax,” I recall Julia saying as we lay in bed at our Newtonian Gardens apartment last night suddenly listening to yelling that was coming from someplace nearby.

Julia had come home from work last night and after dinner she suggested we head over to our apartment at Newtonian Gardens and spend the night there. I agreed saying, “Changing scenery is good and it probably needs a little cleaning up, anyway.”

Julia laughed and said rather slyly, “Or, you and I could both just use the change of scenery. You never know. The cleaning lady might have already been through to tidy up. Not everything is about work, Love,” she finished with a kiss.

And… Yes! The cleaning lady had been by. When we got there the place smelled rather fresh and as if someone had been burning incense. There wasn’t a thing to be done Julia saying, “I’ve got a book if you’re interested.”

So, we settled down on the big leather sofa in the living room area and Julia started reading to me. Julia paused when she saw me start to doze off and said playfully, “Something tells me I could be reading a refrigerator instruction manual, and you would hang on every word so long as I was the one reading the manual.”

But the real surprise came when Julia invited me to join her in bed after we took a shower together, having fun washing each other’s hair and what not. “Silk sheets Julia? These feel nice. And you… Wow!” I said in amazement.

That’s when the nearby couple’s argument started and as Julia suddenly grabbed me and started kissing me passionately, I had a strange feeling she knew exactly where the yelling was coming from. “Focus on me. Just stay with me. Concentrate on the feeling of me and the bed around us. Nothing more. All will be well. I promise,” she breathed.

If any other woman had asked me to concentrate only on them… Well… That would have been a near impossibility. But Julia? Well… She’s not any other woman.

By the time all was said and done the yelling had stopped and I was totally spent. Julia, though quite tired herself, was totally in command of the situation and breathed in my ear, “You did beautifully. Thank you for trusting me. You’ve done well.”

This afternoon when Julia came back to our apartment to pick me up, she was quite happy. “Mr. Schnabel, you are a God! Thanks for getting the grocery shopping done. Your nephew called to say he’d be bringing our order by the house in a few minutes. And… We won’t be listening to the young woman downstairs argue with her boyfriend anymore. I had a chat with Michael Goldberg about that and… Well… All will be much better in future.”

“You did…” I started to say but Julia laughed and cut me off saying, “It’s over. No worries, Babe. It’s a done deal.”
